The NonTactical Journey

This is our creation. The William²s Precision Trigger.

Named after William, and Mr Williams = William²s

Super short summary : two guys who worked together and hatched an amazing idea for a trigger system. We got together and rapidly built a rough prototype, took it out to shoot it.....and realized it didn’t and couldn’t work. Many foolish designs and failed ideas later this is our creation. The William²s Precision Trigger

A little more detail: We have been building this from the ground up for a few years now. It has taken us years because we have both been working full time. Which means only working weekends and random days off while still trying to have a life to keep sane. Once we had a functioning design we got a Patent for the trigger system and then spent a lot of time figuring out how to make it a reality

Neither of us come from a manufacturing or machining back ground. We had to learn machining, programming and 3d design on our own. We are self-taught on how to use a milling machine, 3d modeling software, 3d printers and other tools neither of us had ever touched or heard of before. On top of that we are boot strapping this venture on our own. We now model, program and machine all the parts ourselves and still have a lot to learn. It started with a small hobby mill in a garage with lots of hand tools to make things. We progressed to adding stepper motors to turn it into a small CNC that we built on our own. It worked... sort of. We now have a small Tormach CNC that makes what we need, and some day will be replaced by a larger more powerful machine

Our desire was to keep it as close to mil spec/stock as possible. We attempted to machine what we needed from a standard mil spec trigger, and even though the parts worked, they did not meet our standards for durability. The only parts surviving that are the hammer and disconnector. Everything else has been remodeled from the ground up to serve our purpose. We kept the same material 8620 steel for the sear interface of the trigger bar and had it hardened to the same mil-spec standard.

We are not big on doing social media, but it is a big thing so enjoy our attempts at it.
